American Sniper and Limitless actor Jake McDorman caught RTÉ's Nationwide by surprise when being interviewed as a foreigner attending Cork's big street feast.
The actor was among hundreds attending the huge dinner party on the South Mall giving people a chance to sample some of the best produce from 30 producers from the surrounding area.
Tickets were sold out in three hours for the Midsummer's Festival.
When interviewed he said his "My name is Jake McDorman and I am on my first trip to Ireland." and he said how he had spent three nights in Dublin.

He was asked how he knew about the event and Jamie said "My best friend's mother was friendly with somebody with a food blog and let him know about it."
Mary Kennedy asked him what he thought of the food he replied that he is "a foodie and blown away by the food and eating like its his last meal."
McDorman said "In Los Angeles there are Farmers Markets and the best part of being in Ireland is having no plans and people tellng him where to go and where to stay."
Mary Kennedy said: "You look like a movie star!" He replied: "its the sunglasses."
Mary found out afterwards who he was.
