It all kicked-off tonight on Emmerdale when Dan and Daz Spencer go toe-to-toe on the long-running ITV soap.
Dan’s struggling brother reappeared recently after Kerry finds him homeless on the street. Relations were never great between the siblings and things boil over in this evening's episode (TV3, 7.00pm).
The reason is that Kerry has helped to clean Daz up for a job interview, so when Dan bumps into his brother his initial reaction is to assume he's up to something.
"It's understandable that Dan, who had been hearing that Daz was living on the streets," says Mark Jordon, who plays Daz.
"No matter what his feelings were at the time he was aware that there was always a possibility it was all fake or a set-up, some sort of con. That's how he remembers Daz from the last time he was around.
"So when the girls do this transformation in secret, they send Daz off for his interview."
Typically, the one person he wouldn't want to bump into – his brother – does exactly that and suddenly it's fight night on Emmerdale.
"Dan, of course, bumps into this neat and tidy, suited gentleman and can't believe that he was this down and out tramp," says Jordon."And he flips his lid!"
"He just instantly goes into the old history and thinks Daz is doing a massive con on Kerry, or trying to screw over the Spencers again. So yeah, his first instinct is to lamp him one!"
Emmerdale continues on TV3 on Monday at 7.00pm.
