Jenny Berggren of Swedish pop act Ace of Base is the latest name to be added to the Electric Ireland Throwback Stage at this year's Electric Picnic.
The All That She Wants singer will perform at the sold-out festival alongside 90s nostalgia pop act 5ive and S Club Party.
Ace of Base's original line up was Ulf "Buddha" Ekberg and three siblings: Jonas "Joker" Berggren, Malin "Linn" Berggren and Jenny Berggren. They formed in 1990 and released four studio albums between 1992 and 2002, selling over 30 million copies worldwide.
Electric Picnic takes place in Stradbally, Co. Laois from September 1 to 3. Tickets for the festival sold out in record time this year, before a single performer was announced.
Speaking to RTÉ Entertainment at the time of headliner announcement, festival director Melvin Benn said he was "in shock" that they had sold out so quickly, comparing the speed of sales to last year's festival.
"To be honest I'm in shock actually, it's absolutely amazing that they've gone so quickly," he said. "There was a little less than 50% left and last year it took a month or so to sell the same amount of tickets, this year they've just gone instantly. Within the first hour it was clear they weren't going to last two hours... It feels amazing."
