Dublin singer-songwriter to perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live

LA-based Irish singer/songwriter Rooty who has written hit songs for Britney Spears and One Directions, has been invited to perform her song Love's Just a Feeling on US chatshow Jimmy Kimmel Live

Rooty, real name Ruth-Anne Cunningham, is from Donaghmede in Dublin and will appear on Kimmel's show this Tuesday night singing with performance artist and America's Got Talent quarter finalist Lindsey Stirling. 

Rooty was a former Billie Barry Kid and began writing songs at the age of seven. Her talent brought her over to Los Angeles where she wrote songs for US singer Bebe Rexha and most recently for the soundtrack of Fifty Shades Darker

In 2014 Cunnigham launched her solo career as Rooty.

Her songwrting credits include Work B*tch for Britney Spears, One Direction's No Control, and JoJo's Too Little Too Late. She has also worked with the likes of JR Rotem, Bebe Rexha and TLC.
