Chester Bennington has been laid to rest in a private ceremony near his home in Los Angeles.
The funeral service took place in the South Coast Botanic Gardens near his home in Palos Verdes, Los Angeles.
According to TMZ, the invitation-only service was attended by a few hundred people including his family, friends, bandmates and former collaborators.
The 41-year-old Linkin Park frontman was found dead at 9am on Thursday July 20 at his home. Fans and friends of the singer paid tribute to Bennington on Twitter following the tragic news of his death.
Bennington is survived by his wife of 11 years Talinda Bennington, their twin daughters and son, and his three children from previous relationships.

Talinda Bennington paid tribute to the late musician in a touching statement released to E! News that read, "One week ago, I lost my soulmate and my children lost their hero - their Daddy. We had a fairytale life and now it has turned into some sick Shakespearean tragedy.
"How do I move on? How do I pick up my shattered soul? The only answer I know is to raise our babies with every ounce of love I have left.
"I want to let my community and the fans worldwide know that we feel your love. We feel your loss as well."
His Linkin Park bandmates also released a tribute saying their "hearts are broken" and that the "shockwaves of grief and denial are still sweeping through our family as we come to grips with what has happened."
Last Friday five of Linkin Park's albums re-entered the Irish album charts.
