Stranger Things producer Shawn Levy revealed that "fans will be disappointed" by some of the storylines in season 2 but the initial disappointment will ultimately pay off and leave them with something they're "more satisfied by".
During a Facebook Live session with The Hollywood Reporter, the 48-year-old said, "We are going to do things that fans will be disappointed in but I think they will be more satisfied by".
"I'll give one example that I've been asked about a hundred times, which is people still think Barb's (Shannon Purser) alive.
"Because you think you want that but you wouldn't really want that."

Levy added that while Barb won't be making a return to the popular Netflix series, he'll make sure "there's some justice" for her character.
"I can't see it happening," he explained. "But Barb will not be forgotten. We'll make sure there's some justice for Barb. "
Stranger Things returns to Netflix on October 31.
