EastEnders residents are horrified when the Taylor family make a brash arrival at Albert Square, causing a ruckus before they're even unloaded their removal van.

It was announced in May that the newest family to land on EastEnders would ruffle feathers after they arrive at their new home at No. 23 Albert Square.

Judging by these pictures, it looks like the family stayed true to their word as single mum Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) and her children Keanu (Danny Walters), Bernadette (Clair Norris), Riley (Tom Jacobs) and Chatham (Alfie Jacobs) burst onto the scene at Walford.

The five-strong family and their two pets, Bronson the dog and Rooney the bearded dragon, make a splash as they pull up in their van, with the residents said to be "horrified" by their loud arrival.

The Taylors are making their debut on Thursday, June 15, when viewers will get their first look at Karen, who is described as a "loudmouth" but has a heart of gold, and her brood.

She has her hands full with her kids and finds it particularly challenging at times with her sons Riley and Chatham, played by real-life brothers Tom and Alfie Jacobs, who both have learning difficulties.

Her older son Keanu is described as "charming" and "happy-go-lucky" and he sees himself as the man of the family and is protective of his siblings. However, his sister Bernadette has little interest in anything other than dreaming of being famous.

The family is rounded off with an older sister, the off-screen character Chantelle, who lives nearby with her boyfriend and their two children.

The Taylors make an impression straight away on EastEnders

EastEnders' executive producer Sean O’Connor said of the newest addition to Walford: "I’m hugely excited at the arrival of Karen and her family in Albert Square. They’re noisy, brash and not to be messed with. Karen is a twenty-a-day lioness, bringing up her kids with no support, no money and a very loud mouth.

"But though they may lack cash, the Taylors have love and warmth in spades. This summer is going to be explosive as the Taylors settle in Walford. The Square will never be quite the same again…"

The Taylors have a closely guarded secret...

EastEnders has also revealed that there's a secret associated with the Taylor family, but it is not yet known who it belongs to or when it will come out.

Watch The Taylors land in EastEnders on Thursday June 15.
