Bono and Michael Fassbender were among the A-listers that joined Noel Gallagher for his Narcos-themed
50th birthday bash over the weekend.
The U2 frontman took a break from the North American leg of the band's Joshua Tree tour to attend the former Oasis guitarist's milestone birthday at the lavish Aynhoe Park, a stately home in Oxfordshire.
Among those pictured in attendance were Madonna, Bono, Damon Albarn, fashion designer Stella McCartney, actors Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender, David Walliams, The Stone Roses’ Mani, Gorillaz’s Jeff Wootton and many more.
Madonna was among the celebrities who kindly posted some snaps from the day online for fans to see. Oh, to be a fly-on-the-wall!
Madge posted a picture on Instagram showing her hanging out with Bono and Stella McCartney at the star-studded event.

No birthday would be complete without a mariachi band to dance the night away to.

The celebration was themed around hit Netflix show Narcos, about Columbian drug lord Pablo Escobar, and somehow Gallagher's wife Sara MacDonald managed to get the actor who plays Escobar in the hit series to send birthday greetings to her hubby.
Speaking straight to camera, the 40-year-old said: "Hey Noel, Happy Birthday; I saw your invite for your 50th party. It's really impressive, you look like Pablo Escobar much more than I do."
He added: "I'm a big fan, so to celebrate, I'm going to show you something that I think you'll really love."

The rocker's birthday plans hit the headlines earlier this month (May17) when his estranged brother Liam claimed his sibling and ex-Oasis bandmate had failed to invite any family members to the event.
He had previously hit out at his brother's party plans were revealed on Instagram by his PR guru wife and claimed that Noel had failed to invite their 73-year-old mother Peggy to his party.
Despite not attending the soirée, Liam reached out to his older bro on Twitter to send a rather sweet message.

His message comes just weeks after Liam took a jibe at his sibling on social media over his performance with the Gorillaz on the Graham Norton Show.
At the time, the retiring wallflower wrote, "Just saw the GN shoe f*****g hell bruv you have seriously lost the plot man im [sic] worried dermot looks worried for you also we got the power LG."
