An Irish version of the hugely popular reality TV series Say Yes to the Dress is coming to TV screens next year.
The new ten-part series, Say Yes to the Dress - Ireland, will be screened on RTÉ2 and will be filmed in a brand new Irish bridal store stocked with rail upon rail of gorgeous gúnas from around the world.
The show will follow a selection of brides as they try on a selection of glorious gowns in the hope of finding the perfect one for their big day.
The format is based on the long-running American series which follows the team at Kleinfeld Bridal in Manhattan.
Hosted by Randy Fenoli, each episode shows the team going to extreme lengths to please the brides and realise their wedding dreams. At the moment the identity of the Irish presenter is a closely guarded secret.
Here's Fenoli telling Ray D'Arcy why having the right dress is essential for every bride on her wedding day, as it's a once in a lifetime 'red carpet moment':
Although the show isn't due to screen until next year, RTÉ and production company Shinawil have now begun the search for brides-to-be, who are hunting for their dream dress, to take part in the Irish series.
The Say Yes to the Dress - Ireland team say they want to hear from all types of brides - brides with big and small budgets, brides with traditional and non-traditional tastes, brides who’ve already searched high and low and brides who are only beginning the hunt.
