Hit BBC drama Line of Duty and RTE presenter Bláthnaid Ní Chofaigh were among the Torc award winners at the Celtic Media Festival, the annual celebration of film and media which promotes the languages and cultures of the Celtic nations and regions.
Ní Chofaigh won Radio Presenter of the festival for her RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta show Bláthnaid Libh, marking the seventh year in a row that an RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta presenter has won this award at the festival.

TG4's film Eoin Mac Néill: Fear Dearmadta 1916 won the History Award for its portrayal of the controversial figure whose writings and actions played a central role in the founding of the Irish Volunteers in 1913 and the attempted cancellation of the Easter Rising 1916.

The award winners were announced at a gala ceremony in the Villa Marina in Douglas on the Isle of Man on Friday night, the first time in the Festival's 38-year history that it was held on the island.
Also among the winners were BBC/STV documentary Dunblane: Our Story, which won the Best Single Documentary award while BBC Northern Ireland’s acclaimed Line of Duty took the Best Drama Series crown.
BBC Scotland’s examination of how money and media transformed football in Scotland took the Best Factual Series award, while BBC Wales’s The Greatest Poem of World War One was named as Best Arts programme.
