The first look trailer for the new season of House of Cards has been released and it looks as though the Underwoods will be staying in the White House.
In the trailer for the award-winning show's fifth season, Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) tells his wife Claire (Robin Wright) that "the American people don't know what's best for them. I do" before launching into one of his monologues.
"They're like little children, Claire. We have to hold their sticky fingers and wipe their filthy mouths. Teach them right from wrong," he says to Claire.
"Tell them what to think, and how to feel, and what to want. They even need help writing their wildest dreams, crafting their worst fears. Lucky for them, they have me. They have you."
House of Cards returns to Netflix on May 30.
