It's been 20 years since Austin Powers: International Man Of Mystery made its debut and leading man Mike Myers has said he would ''love'' to make a fourth movie.

The 53-year-old actor, who is known for playing the part of the world-class playboy and part-time special agent as well as finger-sucking villain Dr. Evil in the trilogy of action comedy movies, has said that while he would be happy to revisit the franchise, fans will have to ''wait and see.''

The movies, which poked fun at popular spy franchises such as James Bond, were created as a ''tribute'' to Myers' father who passed away in 1991.

The star, who also produced the film series, says he's ''unbelievably satisfied'' that he has been able to turn his father's memory into something that makes other people happy.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Myers said, ''After my dad died in 1991, I was taking stock of his influence on me as a person and his influence on me with comedy in general.

"So Austin Powers was a tribute to my father, who [introduced me to] James Bond, Peter Sellers, The Beatles, The Goodies, Peter Cook and Dudley Moore.

''I would love to do another, but you just have to see. I was devastated by my father's death. But to have that turn into something that makes people happy is unbelievably satisfying. It's that kind of stuff you never get used to or get tired of.''

Jay Roach, the director of the original movie, added that they have toyed with the idea of making a fourth Powers film for 15 years.

"We have also always said we don't want to do it unless we came up with something that lived up to the concepts in our mind," he said. "Until Mike feels like he has a concept that earns a fourth, it won't happen.

"But if it did, we have all agreed that we would be delighted to get back into it," he added.

RTÉ sports presenter and commentator Des Cahill aka Dancing Dessie left viewers speechless on this year's Dancing with the Stars with an Austin Powers-inspired routine that contained some, eh groovy, floor moves.
