The first trailer for Kingsman: The Golden Circle has been released and it looks set to be as star-studded, stunt heavy and stylish as the spy organisation's first big screen outing.

Helmed again by Matthew Vaughn, the sequel looks set to retain the charm and action of the first film, which took in over $400 million in the box office.

Taron Egerton is back as Eggsy, with Mark Strong also reprising his role as Merlin – but fans will be the happiest to see Colin Firth return as the presumed-dead Harry Hart.

Channing Tatum is among the new stars to join the ranks

This time around the elite organisation are dealing with the fallout of having their headquarters destroyed in a time where the world is being held hostage. Working together with an allied spy group in the US, they must band together to defeat their common enemy.

The sequel has also enlisted some major Hollywood stars to its ranks with Channing Tatum, Julianne Moore, Jeff Bridges and Halle Berry all starring.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle hits cinemas on September 29.
