Golfer Rory McIlroy has married his 29 year old fiancée at a ceremony attended by 200 guests at Ashford Castle.
Golfing stars from around the world and celebrities from the showbiz and entertainment business were in attendance at an event which was held privately on the castle grounds this evening.
Access to Ashford Castle in Cong, Co Mayo has been in lockdown for the wedding ceremony, as the couple sought privacy for their big day.
McIlroy's colleagues from the European Ryder Cup team and family friends from the US flew into Knock Airport in Mayo for the highly-anticipated event.
Locals report that golfer Sergio Garcia arrived at the airport yesterday and that Niall Horan landed at the same time, while members of the Stoll family arrived by helicopter inside the grounds on Saturday morning.

Motown superstar Stevie Wonder and his 15 piece band are at the the Lodge at Ashford, and performed at the wedding reception.
