While Dublin played host to Ed Sheeran on Thursday, Belfast had another A-lister in its midst - Oscar winner Morgan Freeman.
Speculation was rife as to whether the Shawshank Redemption and Million Dollar Baby star was filming or on a city break.
Freeman was in London recently promoting new film Going in Style and may have decided to take a trip, with the Belfast Telegraph reporting that a member of his family is studying at university in Northern Ireland.

"He was an absolute gentleman," Short Strand resident Dan Walsh told the paper.
"He was very laid back and had a good sense of humour."
Can't believe Morgan Freeman was in Belfast and no-one asked him to be First Minister

Lest we forget that one of Freeman's most famous lines in The Shawshank Redemption involved Irish roots...
