Janet Jackson has reportedly separated from her multi-millionaire husband, Wissam Al Mana, months after giving birth to her first child, Eissa.

The Mail on Sunday reports that the couple have split, according to sources. Jackson married the Qatari businessman in 2012 and their son was born on January 3 this year.

The postponement of the singer’s 36-stadium Unbreakable world tour had been attributed by some commentators to contentment with her marriage and new baby.

The Mail on Sunday claims the split is `amicable’ and that Jackson’s son will remain with his mother, who will live in London for the foreseeable future.

42-year-old Al Mana is CEO of the multinational Al Mana business conglomerate. He is estimated to be worth approximately €934 million, which is believed to be at least four times Jackson’s net worth.

The singer was married for a time to singer James DeBarge in 1984 but the pair split the following year and the marriage was subsequently annulled. Her second husband was Mexican dancer Rene Elizondo.
