Country and Irish superstar Nathan Carter says he is very single at the moment and has no plans to settle down because he's too busy concentrating on his career.
Carter, who has just released his new single, Livin' The Dream, told RTÉ Entertainment, "No, there is still nothing going on! I'm gonna be 27 in May so time is ticking, I need to think about settling down pretty soon but no, it's not something I really think about. Not at the minute. As the single says, I'm livin' the dream at the minute.

"I think probably in about three or four years time, maybe I'll consider then is the time to settle down. I've got a few more goals I want to achieve yet career-wise and then I think I'll be happy enough to maybe consider having a proper relationship and taking it that next step, you know."
Speaking about his new single, Carter said, "It's a bit of a different song for me. I'm working on new material for an album this summer and livin' the dream is a little phrase that's been said to me quite often recently when I'm doing the gigs and enjoying everything I do.

"A lot of friends are saying it to me recently that I'm living the dream so I decided to sit down and put pen to paper and write a song with Don Mescall, who's a Limerick man originally, and we came up with this latest single and thankfully people seem to be liking and it's getting a lot of play on radio."
Carter also said that he will continue to perform his biggest hit, Wagon Wheel, and that the song has not become a millstone around his neck.
"I think everyone always wants to get another hit and it's hard when something like Wagon Wheel has been played so much for you not to associated with it all the time. I did a couple of radio shows the other day and the first question was `are you going to sing Wagon Wheel?' And I'm saying, `well I've got a brand new single . . . '

"Wagon Wheel is still requested all the time and people want to hear it so as long as people want to hear it, I'll keep singing it."
Carter is also performing his first arena gigs this summer when he plays sold-out shows at the 3Arena in Dublin and the SSE in Belfast.
