Veteran director Martin Scorsese was honoured with the John Ford Award in Dublin over the weekend from the Irish Film and Television Academy (IFTA) at a special event.
He received the Academy’s prestigious Award from President Michael D Higgins immediately. Scorsese had earlier delivered a two hour IFTA Masterclass for Academy Members and filmmakers.
