Donald Trump has reportedly tapped Rocky star Sylvester Stallone for a top arts role in his upcoming US administration.
The Daily Mail reports that veteran actor and Republican supporter Stallone will be appointed as Chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency responsible for granting funds to artists and creative projects.
"It's been widely and wrongly assumed that a Trump Presidency will be hostile to the arts," said a source quoted by the Mail. "But Mr Trump feels this sort of A-list appointment is precisely the shot in the arm that the industry needs."
Earlier this week, Trump met with Kanye West at Trump Tower in New York, where they shared a hug and Trump signed a copy of his Time magazine cover for West.
Afterwards, West avoided questions about whether he will perform at Trump's upcoming inauguration as the next US President.
West's meeting with Trump attracted a heated reaction from fans, while John Legend described himself as "disappointed" that the rapper called to Trump Tower.
