RTÉ's Western reporter, Teresa Mannion has said she's had "an incredible year" since gaining worldwide fame for her passionate report from Salthill in Galway as Storm Desmond battered the Irish coast.
And although a full 12 months have passed (366 days to be exact as this was a leap year) since December 5 and Teresa became an internet sensation, she's still feeling the love that's out there.
"It's been an incredible year," she recalls. "Every week there are at least ten people looking for selfies with me. It's obviously something that really resonated with people - but it just happened."
But what's surprised her even more is the fact that so many people are recalling the event a year on from the first anniversary of her advising the nation, "Don't make unnecessary journeys".

"We had no idea it was going to go global and I'm just gobsmacked that, one year on, people remember it and are tweeting about it today.
"It was an amazing experience to go through," she adds. "But the report was authentic - totally authentic.
"And a lot has happened since, I've become an ambassador for the Road Safety Authority, doing various events, and my profile is very high."
But if the rumours are true about her being one of the celebs competing in RTÉ One's Dancing with the Stars in the New Year, her profile is set to go even higher by participating in Ireland's version of Strictly Come Dancing.
Teresa laughed and offered an understandable "No comment!" when asked about her possible role in the show, which will announce its participants on Tuesday.
However if Teresa is one of the confirmed contestants, then she'll at least have this uptempo number created in her honour to get her feet moving . . .
