Friday night's Late Late Toy Show was a hit on Twitter WORLDWIDE and it's really not hard to see why. From Tubs' opening song, to surprise guests and several showstopping numbers - this year's Jungle Book-themed show really had all the bare necessities.
Oh, and let's not forget those amazing jumpers (So. Many. Amazing. Jumpers), THAT elephant, those surprise guests and several showstopping numbers. Here's a reminder of the best bits...
1. Aaron Ryan brings the house down
What a performance from Aaron Ryan who won himself a well-deserved standing ovation from the audience for his powerful rendition of Jennifer Holliday's Dreamgirls belter, And I am Telling You. A star is definitely born!

2. Dermot Bannon in da house
If you thought Evelyn Cusack's appearance last year was the epitome of RTÉ surprise guests then think again! Starchitect Dermot Bannon was released from a glass cube (we're presuming) to meet one of Room to Improve's biggest fans - Anna McGrath from Sligo. The two got on like a well-designed house on fire and launched into a huge bout of gender bashing banter. OK, Bob the Builder was too pricey.

3. The rumble in the Jungle
Who asked for a huge OTT opening number featuring 72 performers, thousands (or thereabouts) of jazz hands, an elephant (!!!) and Ryan Tubridy sing-talking inside a giant Baloo costume to a number from the Jungle Book? We all did, of course! And the Toy Show didn't let us down as the show kicked off in impressive choreographed style.
4. Hungover cooking
Let's face it, at this time of the year we all make unwise cooking decisions the morning after the Xmas office party (not to mention the night of the office Xmas party). Thankfully, this little minx, Bebhinn O’Connell, was on hand to dole out some impressive serving suggestions. Yummy!

5. Penny wise ladies
There was no nonsense from these two young ladies from Ballyfermot in Dublin. They can clearly spot a con job a mile off. When asked why Hatchimals (us neither) were so popular, this very astute reply came from Sarah and Lexie: "I think it's because they are very expensive... I really don't think they're worth that much money." That toy company will be back next year for sure.

6. Sporting heroes
We had our fair share of Irish sporting heroes on this year's Toy Show. The "very handsome" rugby giant Jamie Heaslip and golfing champ Rory McIlroy both popped into studio to make the nights of two of their biggest fans. Fair play all round and a happy Christmas to all!

7. The Country Hoedown Throwdown
What's the diff! The moment every year, on every Toy Show when city folk scratch their heads at the arcane jargon of their country cousins. Young Darragh Malone is defo heading for the eh, X Tractor with his rousing medley of Hit The Diff and chicken in a basket circuit classic, Wagon Wheel. This could be No 1 all over Navan by next week.

8. No worries
We had to turn the adorable up to 11 for this young chap. Alex Nicholas from Ballyshannon, Donegal got one of the biggest awwwwws of the night as he explained to us how to get rid of our worries with this handy little device. Considering the year that we've just had, we'll take all of them, thanks.
9. Ryan tries on a sorting hat
A pretty magical moment in a night of magical moments. Always into dressing up, Ryan popped on a Harry Potter sorting hat (which, as everybody knows, is an enchanted hat which once belonged to Godric Gryffindor) and got sorted into a... Hufflepuff! For all you Muggles out there, according to the Pottermore website, "Hufflepuffs value hard work, patience, loyalty, and fair play." See! It really works.
10. The Annual Rap-off
Oh Fionn, look what you've started! Yes no Toy Show can now be complete without a country lad dropping some sick rhymes. Step forward young Timmy Costello from Tipperary with his unique take on House of Pain's Jump Around. Altogether now "Tip, Tip, Tip, Town"! Repeat as required.
