It's an eclectic line-up on this week's Late Late Show, as Daniel O'Donnell, Angela Scanlon and John Bishop set to take to the couch.

O'Donnell will be chatting about being back on the road touring, filming his RTÉ Christmas special and travelling around Ireland with his wife Majella again for another series of B&B Road Trip.

Irish TV presenter Angela Scanlon has spent the autumn co-presenting BBC2's Robot Wars, and now the television star is getting ready to join BBC One's The One Show, taking over from regular host Alex Jones while she is on maternity leave.

The Meath-born TV personality will be sharing the secret of her UK success. 

As he gears up for his 50th birthday, comedian John Bishop is joining host Ryan Tubridy to talk about getting his first career break, his kids fleeing the nest and a particularly embarrassing anecdote involving Paul McCartney and a case of mistaken identity.

And on the week in which Gay Byrne announced that he was to undergo tests to see if prostate cancer has have spread to his lower back three survivors of prostate cancer will be sharing their experiences of battling the disease.

Rugby player Tony Ward, GAA manager Sean Boylan and newsreader Michael Murphy, will be on to talk about the importance of men getting themselves checked.

Also on Friday's show, crime correspondent Paul Williams traces the history of gangland warfare in Dublin and will be explaining why he thinks the situation has gotten much worse in the 20 years since Veronica Guerin was murdered..

Daniel O'Donnell and Gavin James will also be providing the tunes on tonight's show at 9.35pm on RTÉ One.
