Boxer Katie Taylor is set to give her first major television interview since turning professional on tonight's Late Late Show.

Taylor will chat about making the leap from amateur to professional and her emotional loss at the Rio Olympics.

Many viewers will recall her heartbreaking interview that she gave following her shock defeat at the games to Finnish fighter Mira Potkonen in the quarter-final.

Rubberbandit Blindboy Boatclub is set to fill viewers in on the duo's new documentary show and share his thoughts on the need to tackle mental health in Ireland.

Back in January he stole the show during an appearance on the Late Late Show 1916 debate with his views on how the centenary of the Rising should be marked and what life is like for the younger generation in Ireland.

Asked by Ryan Tubridy what his "generation” felt about The Rising, Blindboy said: “My generation can’t afford to buy a house, can’t afford to have a baby. My generation are either leaving the country or jumping in rivers."

Former X Factor contestant Olly Murs will also be on the show to perform his new single Grow Up, which features on his new album.

The singer is also good mates with Irish singer Niall Horan and he recently said that he'd love to collaborate with the Mullingar man saying "I'd love to write a track with him or get into the studio together to see what we could come up with".

Also joining Tubridy is Cocoa Brown entrepreneur Marissa Carter who will be demonstrating a new craze in fake tan – 3D tanning, and discussing her plans to break America.

There will also be a segment on young carers, and having been diagnosed with early on-set Alzheimer's five years ago, Helen Rochford Brennan will be sharing her story, alongside her son Martin.

Meanwhile the first teaser for this year's Toy Show in two weeks time has been released. Featuring a lip-synching Tubridy giving it the full Sinatra, he belts out a version of All I Want for Christmas is You as he trys to impress a panel of mini-judges.
