Kathryn Thomas has announced she is engaged to longtime boyfriend Padraig McLoughlin.
The 37-year-old Operation Transformation presenter confirmed the news on social media on Thursday.
Taking to her Twitter account, the Carlow woman said: "He didn't find a perfect person that's for sure, but he loves an imperfect person perfectly....so I said yes."

McLoughlin, who opened seafood restaurant Catch 22 on South Anne Street in Dublin last year, popped the question over the weekend, while the couple were on a romantic break at Ballyfin House in Co Laois.
The couple met during the summer of 2013 while both were ordering a drink in O'Donoghue's Pub on Baggot Street.
