If you've ever fancied living in a nice gaff by the sea, TG4's new series Tithe Cois Farraige will have you drooling all over your remote control.

The brand new eight-parter begins on Wednesday, November 2 and features the kind of coastal homes that are the stuff of dreams.

Filmed using state-of-the-art equipment, the series showcases beautiful and unique Irish homes on Ireland’s spectacular coastline and gives viewers a glimpse into the lives of people who live the dream.

From the amazing beaches and the dramatic cliffs of Donegal, to the safe harbours and tiny coves of West Cork, the island of Ireland has some of the most magnificent coastline nature has to offer.

In tonight's opener, presenter Síle Nic Chonaonaigh visits some spectacular homes on the coastline of Donegal, including the unique home of musician Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh, as well as The Pig House and Tuath na Mara.

Next week, she heads to Bantry Bay, and future destinations include Mayo, Connemara, Kerry and Dublin.

Tithe Cois Farraige airs on Wednesday at 9.30pm on TG4.
