Canadian crooner Michael Bublé and Graham Norton are among the line-up of guests in tonight's edition of The Late Late Show on RTÉ One.
And while Bublé is obviously the biggest star on tonight's show, he's not one for boasting - quite opposite, in fact - even when talking about a recent medial procedure to protect his most precious asset: his voice.
Bublé told The Late audience that his surgeon lightened the mood after his recent vocal cord operation by telling him the surgery had gone well but "you still have a small penis".
The Canadian crooner also explains to host Ryan Tubridy that the surgery was "not serious" despite reports at the time. "I had a great doctor," he explains. "He was a skilled, really great professional with a really great sense of humour.
"When I woke up from the operation, the first thing he said to me was: 'it was much less invasive than we thought it would be’ and I just thought ‘yes’ but then he said ‘but you still have a small penis’!" he says.
Bublé visited the RTÉ studios in Dublin's Donnybrook recently for a pre-recorded segment that airs on tonight’s The Late Late Show. The item was filmed in front of more than 200 of his biggest fans, who were treated to two songs and afterwards he posed for selfies with the audience.
The vocal cord operation came to light earlier this year after Bublécancelled two public appearances. But, as he told the Late Late audience, he only revealed the news about the operation after journalists called to ask if there was something wrong in his personal life.
"I didn’t want to tell anybody because it was so not serious but I had to cancel two really big events . . . My friends in the media, who are journalists, started to call and started to say: ‘Is there something wrong with your family? Is there a problem with your personal life? Is your health okay? Are your kids okay?’
"It really started to freak me out," he says, "I would rather not court controversy, I would rather just tell the people what was really happening than have speculation."
He also tells Tubridy that becoming a father has completely changed him.
"Being a papa has given me perspective that I so very badly need," he says. "The only regret I have is that I didn’t do it earlier... There is a level of love that I didn’t know existed, I think that’s what I’m finding," before joking: "When I said that there’s a level of love I didn’t know existed, I meant for me!"
As well as Graham Norton, other guests on tonight's show include Kerry gaelic footballer Kieran Donaghy, cook Donal Skehan and country music star Nathan Carter.
