Eminem has dropped a new track dissing the Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump just hours ahead of the third and final presidential debate in Las Vegas.

The rapper's latest tack, titled Campaign Speech, tears into the controversial presidential candidate and billionaire businessman, calling him a "loose cannon".

Warning: The track contains adult language.

The almost eight-minute long track, which features a minimal musical arrangement and Eminem's typical rapid-fire delivery, contains a selection of politically charged themes, including police brutality and Trump's run for the US presidency.

The 44-year-old raps: "Consider me a dangerous man, but you should be afraid of this dang candidate. You say Trump don't kiss a** like a puppet? 'cause he runs his campaign with his own cash for the funding?

"And that's what you wanted? A f***in' loose cannon who's blunt with his hand on the button, who doesn't have to answer to no one? Great idea!"

Later in the track he takes a swipe at Trump's supporters, saying: "Run the faucet, I'm a dunk a bunch of Trump supporters underwater. Em flows at one point over minimalist swabs of synth. Snuck up on 'em in Ray-Bans in a grey van with a spray tan."

Along with the surprise release of this new track, Eminem also revealed that he is working on a new album.

His last record was The Marshall Mathers LP 2 in 2013, his eight studio album.
