I'm A Celebrity star Nadia Forde has joined the cast for the upcoming Dublin run of the musical based on the classic Adam Sandler movie The Wedding Singer.
The model and singer will star alongside Ray Quinn, Cassie Compton, Roxanne Pallett and Ruth Madoc in the stage adaptation of the hit film.
The story is based in 1985 around rock star wannabe Robbie Hart who is New Jersey's favourite wedding singer. However, when his own fiancée dumps him at the altar, he sets out to make every wedding as disastrous as his own.
In the movie, Robbie writes a song entitled Somebody Kill Me about her.

Forde is joining the show especially for the Dublin run in the role of Linda, the bride-to-be who leaves Robbie at the alter in the film.
She said of taking on the role: "I'm so excited to play the role of Linda at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre in Dublin! I have always been a huge fan of The Wedding Singer movie and can't wait to be part of an amazing cast for the stage production."
The Wedding Singer will run at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre from March 7-11 2017.
