Oscar-nominated actress Felicity Jones' star has been on the rise for many years, and she says it was "surreal" going from starring alongside Tom Hanks in Inferno, to taking the lead in the Star Wars spin-off Rogue One.
The 32-year-old British actress is probably best known for her Oscar-nominated performance in the 2014 biopic The Theory of Everything, where she played Jane Wilde Hawking the wife of famed theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking.
Taking on a leading role in the new action thriller Inferno, director Ron Howard's latest adaptation of Dan Brown's hugely-popular Robert Langdon novels, was a bit of change of pace for her.
"It was great fun! There were so many times when it said on the call sheet that Langdon and Sienna go running so we became almost jogging buddies. There were so many scenes when we were running alongside each other through Florence", he told told RTÉ Entertainment.

"But he's [Tom Hanks] very cool, he and Ron [Howard] obviously have such a long relationship together that they made it very easy. It doesn't often happen it was a very comfortable and enjoyable experience."
Straight after she wrapping filming on Inferno, which was shot on location across Italy and Budapest, she headed straight to the Wadi Rum desert in Jordan to begin shooting Gareth Edwards stand-alone Star Wars Anthology film.
"It was a little bit surreal going from the streets of Florence to travelling through hyperspace in a galaxy far, far away!" she said. "There were moments when I thought 'This is like a bizarre dream', but it was a very cool experience.
"Entering into Star Wars, you become part of this wonderful group of people who have such affection for it and have grown up watching it, so you do really take on that responsibility, you care very much about it because it's moved and touched people throughout their lives."

The actress said she isn't too worried about the amount of media attention and pressure that comes with being attached to the Star Wars universe, saying: "As long as I can still go to my local shop and buy milk then all is going to be fine!"
Jones, who doesn't use any form of social media, admitted that she admires a low-key approach to fame.
"I feel I'm still quite old fashioned in the sense when I go to the cinema I don't really want to know every single minor detail about the name of the person's dogs, I want to invest in them as characters", she said.
And what's next after Rogue One? "Sleep! That's all I'm thinking about, sleep and rest! I'm looking forward to the next year, I'm looking at different projects, I feel very lucky to be able to choose something I really care about."
Inferno is in cinemas from Friday October 14. Read our review here.
