Former Game of Thrones star Rose Leslie is joining the upcoming Good Wife spin-off.
It could be described as calling Jon Snow's ex to the stand as Leslie, best known as GoT warrior Ygritte, is joining the upcoming offshoot in a major, series-regular role.
The 29-year-old Scottish actress will play Maia, Diane's (Christine Baranski) goddaughter who joins her firm just after passing the bar, and is a key part of Diane's plan for the future.
Baranski and Cush Jumbo (who plyed Lucca Quinn) are headlining the spin-off and continuing their roles as two of Alicia's (Julianna Margulies) coworkers from the law firm.
The events take place a year after the finale which saw Alicia betraying Diane (Baranski) in court after she instructed Lucca (Jumbo) to attack Diane's married life in cross examination of Diane's husband, Kurt (Gary Cole).
Good Wife co-creators Robert and Michelle King are penning the script for the as yet untitled spin-off.
