A couple of newly-weds got a wedding gift with a difference after the photos from their special day were photobombed by actor Tom Hanks.
Hanks was out jogging in Central Park in New York when he jumped into the snaps with Elisabeth and Ryan before he congratulated the started couple and gave the bride a kiss on her hand.
The look of genuine surprise was captured by their photographer Meg Miller and the happy snaps have now gone viral.
She wrote that "Yesterday's wedding was so beautiful! Elisabeth and Ryan you planned one amazing celebration. The icing on the cake was @tomhanks stopping in Central Park to wish them congratulations,"
Afterwards Hanks then took a selfie with the newly-weds and posted it on Instagram and Twitter, signing it "Elisabeth and Ryan! Congrats and blessings! Hanx."
Hanks himself may have more than a few reasons to celebrate as his performance in the upcoming Clint Eastwood-directed, Sully, is tipped to earn him another Oscar nomination.
The two-time Academy Award-winner has earned a string of positive reviews for his portrayal of the US Airways pilot who landed a passenger plane on New York's Hudson River in 2009.
