Justin Theroux has shed some light on why he thinks his marriage to Jennifer Aniston works so well.
The Leftovers star opened up on their relationship to Entertainment Tonight, saying: "We appreciate each other's sense of humour, we respect one another and we get along.
"I know it sounds simple but it's true!"
The comments come less than a week after a representative for Aniston was forced to deny that she and Theroux would soon be following her former husband Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to the divorce courts.
Justin Theroux said he and Jennifer Aniston "get along"
US magazine In Touch Weekly had reported that Aniston had split from Theroux after he had allegedly been in contact with his ex-girlfriend of 14 years, Heidi Bevins.
Aniston's rep said the story was a "complete fabrication", adding that the actress is still happily married to her husband of one year.
Theroux and former Friends actress Aniston wed in a secret ceremony at their Los Angeles home in August 2015 after four years of dating, having first met on the set of Wanderlust in 2011.
Theroux recently spoke about his favourite movie his wife has done, telling E! Online: ""I think Cake not just because it was her most recent one. I loved her in Good Girl, and her comedies are fabulous. Loved her in Wanderlust...She's always so present and good."
He can next be seen on the big screen alongside Emily Blunt in the The Girl on the Train which is out in cinemas on October 5.
