Model Gigi Hadid defended herself ably when she was pounced on by a male stranger while leaving a fashion show in Milan.
The Victoria's Secret star was leaving a Max Mara catwalk show with her sister, fellow model Bella Hadid, when a man evaded her security guards and grabbed her around her waist, picking her up and holding her in the air.
However, Hadid was quick to respond, freeing herself from his grasp with an elbow to the head. She emerged from the incident unhurt but shaken.

In response to headlines in the media saying she had "lashed out" at her attacker, Hadid took to Twitter to defend her actions.
"I'm a HUMAN BEING and had EVERY RIGHT to defend myself. How dare that idiot think he has the right to man-handle a complete stranger," Hadid posted.
She added: "He ran quick tho (sic)."
THANK YOU Rachel.
