Colin Firth has said he would be interested in starring in a sequel to the 2003 romantic comedy Love Actually should the right script come along.
Working Title produced Love Actually and the company co-chairman Eric Fellner revealed that a sequel is something they would love to see happen in the future.
"One my founder Tim [Bevan] and I would love to do [is] another Love Actually," Fellner told Independent.co.uk. "But that would all be about whether Richard Curtis wants to write another one. But that's one we often talk about."
Having been told of Fellner's enthusiasm to revisit Love Actually, Colin Firth, who played author Jamie in the film, said, "Oh my goodness, you've just sent a shiver down my spine."
"It's never been asked or suggested before. Would it need to be the same people? I don't know," Firth said. "I'll take whatever comes – just send me a good script and if the people are there..."
That sounds promising to us!
