Lady Gaga has named her new album after her late aunt Joanne and the new release features guest appearances from Beck, Kevin Parker of Tame Impala, Florence Welch and Father John Misty.

The follow-up to 2013's ARTPOP  is due for release on October 21 and Gaga has revealed that the record is dedicated to her aunt who died aged 19 of lupus in 1974.

Speaking to Zane Lowe on Beats 1 on Thursday, Gaga said that the album art features Joanne’s handwriting, as well as photographs of her. Gaga also said that she was still putting the finishing touches to the album and that the track list could change.

Her new single, Perfect Illusion, was released last week, a co-write and co-produce with Tame Impala's Kevin Parker along with Mark Ronson and BloodPop, who produced Justin Bieber’s single Sorry.
