Justin Timberlake has said that he would "absolutely" collaborate with his ex-girlfriend Britney Spears.

In news that is sure to delight fans of the famous former couple, Spears recently told a reporter that "Justin Timberlake is very good" in response to a question about who she would like to record a duet with.

E! News told the Sexy Back star about Spears' comment, to which he replied: "She did? Sure! Absolutely, absolutely."

He then went on to blame his young son Silas for being out of the loop with celebrity news, saying: "I have a 17 month old so I don't get the headline news... I apologise for not being in the know."

The Can't Stop the Feeling singer added: "I'm accessible, give us a call!"
