The Dubliner has played at the festival before, but Saturday marked the first time he graced the Main Stage at Ireland's premium festival.
"I've played here a couple of years," he told Morning Ireland's Jackie Fox. "First time I played here was the Oxjam tent and there was ten people there. Then I did the Rankin's [Wood] and there was 50-ish people there.

"And then I played the Rankin's again last year and it was packed. And now it's mad that I'm doing the feckin' main stage!"
Naturally, he was also keen to take in a few of the acts himself. So who would he recommend?
"Hermitage Green, who are playing right now," he said. "I wanna see Lana Del Ray tomorrow... and Nathaniel Rateliff..."
