Well holy god! Former X Factor judge and famously raunchy pop star, Rita Ora, is due to perform for Pope Francis at the Vatican later this week.
The British singer revealed the news during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and said she will be performing in front of the Pontiff at an event to celebrate Mother Teresa's canonisation as a Saint.
"I’m more of a spiritual person, so the Vatican I figured out is actually a big deal", she said half-joking, half-incredulously.
The singer, who's known for her revealing outfits, may have to tone down her somewhat immodest style for the visit
“And then I looked at the guest list and I just see P.O.P. E, and I was like... Pope! And then I though what do you wear to see the Pope? I know he doesn't have Facebook." This should go well.
Ora added, "I’m going to do a whole ‘What’s up pope’ thing” at the "Vatican Venue", before Fallon suggested that she might Google more proper things to say to the Pontiff.
Although she didn't explain why she had been asked to perform at the canonisation ceremony, both Ora and Mother Teresa have Albanian heritage, which may go some way towards explain why she was given the gig.
Ora is due up to take over from Tyra Banks as the host of the long-running reality show America's Next Top Model and was also recently filming Fifty Shades Darker, the sequel to Fifty Shades Of Grey. Ora will be reprising her role as Christian Grey's younger sister, Mia.
