Oscar winner Jim Broadbent is set to join Game Of Thrones in a major role in the next series of the hit show.
No further details have yet been released but Entertainment Weekly, which broke the story, revealed that he will play a "significant" character.
The 67-year-old British actor won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for the drama Iris. He's also appeared in a huge number of films and TV shows including the Irish movie, Brooklyn, the Bridget Jones series, The Iron Lady, Moulin Rouge and the Harry Potter films.

The seventh series of Game of Thrones will be it's penultimate season after the show's creators confirmed that it will come to an end after season eight.
One of the creators, D.B Weiss, said that part of their decision to end it sooner rather than later is that they don't want the show to ever become stale.
"We want to leave while all the people watching this show are really into it. Get out at a high point and not have it be, well thank God that's over," he said.
Filming is due to resume shortly on the next season on locations here in Ireland as well as Iceland and Spain.
