Amy Schumer told the audience at her gig in Dublin's 3Arena on Friday night that it was "a dream come true" for her.
The comedian, who emerged on stage holding a pint of Guinness, also brought a out a card which she said Bono and the rest of U2 had left in her dressing room.
She also posted a video revealing her delight at receiving the a card and showcasing some highlights from the gig, including one particularly sleepy "fan".

Schumer was spotted out and about in the capital with her brother, Jason Stein in the hours before her first major stand-up gig in Dublin, and after the gig posted a picture of the two of them along with the caption "Thank you Dublin we had the best time!".
Jason, who's a Chicago based jazz musician, was on stage with his band as one of the warm up acts on Friday night.

The comedian and Emmy Award-winning actress is a huge fan of the capital and was here for the Irish premiere of her hit movie Trainwreck a year ago.
She was loud in her praise of the city and its attractions on that occasion, telling RTÉ Entertainment that "I want to move here, no joke. This is the perfect, perfect place for me."

She also endeared herself to fans here after she left a massive tip behind in one of the city's best know watering holes after they popped in for a bite to eat and drink.
The busy waitress posted a message of thanks to Amy on Instagram saying "Your tip has made this waitresses day, maybe week. Best of luck with your show!".

Meanwhile Schumer's candid memoir The Girl With The Lower Back Tattoo hits the bookshelves here this week.
She reportedly bagged a deal worth between €7 and €9 million for the book, which has been praised for its honesty after she revealed that she was in a physically and emotionally abusive relationship in the past.
