Despite its Christmas 2015 special being flagged as the show's last-ever episode, Lee Mack's Not Going Out will be returning to BBC One for an eighth season.
And there's going to be quite a change for Lee (Lee Mack) and Lucy (Sally Bretton), who had their first child during that seasonal special, as next time we'll see them they'll have, not one, but three children.
And while the sitcom has taken an obvious time jump of several years, Hugh Dennis and Abigail Cruttenden will be back as their uptight friends and neighbours Toby and Anna, while Lee's lamentable dad (Bobby Ball) is also set to return.
The BBC has promised that there will be appearances from other old favourites, so long-term fans will be hoping that Tim Vine may be back as Lucy's brother Tim and Katy Wix will resurface as the supremely ditsy Daisy.
