Fair City couple Decco and Kerri-Ann are in for a big shock on the eve of their wedding with the arrival of some uninvited guests.

Warning: spoiler alert!

As the couple prepare to walk down the aisle, Decco's brothers Zumo and Denzo return to Carrigstown. Denzo is still on the run from gardaí, meaning that Decco now has even more to worry about for the big day.

"He's made a huge effort to turn his life around over the last few years and is in a really good place right now with Kerri-Ann," said actor David O'Sullivan, who plays Decco.

"So when he sees his brothers pulling up outside the salon he immediately goes into panic mode. Because, as the viewers know, wherever the Bishops are trouble is never too far away."

The boys are back in (Carrigs)town

O'Sullivan said having to keep quiet about the plot twists was "probably the hardest part" of filming this week's episodes with co-star Jenny Dixon, who plays Kerri-Ann.

"We'd such a fun time filming the whole thing. [With] so many of the cast involved it was great to have everybody there. Hopefully everybody now gets the joy from watching it that we had filming it."

Patrick Fitzpatrick, who plays Zumo, said his character "pretty much picks up where he left off".

The Bishops' conclave

"He immediately inserts himself at the centre of the wedding and starts to call the shots, taking over as best man from Mondo, much to the annoyance of Decco," he revealed. "And, of course, there's the added complication of Denzo, who is on the run from the guards!  Never a dull moment with them.

"One thing that's definite about the Bishops is you never know what they are going to do next - they'll certainly keep the viewers guessing."

The Bishop brothers' return airs on RTÉ One tonight at 8pm, with the hour-long wedding episode on Thursday at the same time.
