A new picture of the kids from the British TV sitcom Outnumbered has been doing the rounds today and everyone is fairly shocked at how grown up the trio now look.

The image was posted by Ramona Marquez, who played Karen, on her private Instagram page before it went viral on Twitter.

Marquez, now's now aged 15, appeared alongside her co-stars Daniel Roche, 16, and Tyger Drew-Honey, 20, on the hit comedy show, which ran for five seasons until 2014.

The photo sees the actress posing alongside Roche and Drew-Honey, who played her on-screen brothers, cool and collected Ben and demonic Jake. And it's fair to say they all look very different to how people will remember them from the show.

Fans shared their shock at the image on Twitter with many remarking how ancient it makes them feel. Though others did have a laugh poking fun at people's disbelief that children actually, you know do grow up.

Many of the scenes in the comedy series were improvised by the kids and it was lauded for its realistic portrayal of children.

Marquez herself was often considered the real star of the show with her hilarious and very precocious scene-stealing pronouncements, which often left her poor bewildered and stressed parents, played by Hugh Dennis and Claire Skinner, even more flummoxed than usual.

The show's creator Andy Hamilton recently revealed that he's hoping to bring Outnumbered back for a Christmas special this year.
