The trailer for Liam Neeson's upcoming war movie Operation Chromite has been released and finds the Ballymena native leading Korean war soldiers as they fight for freedom.
The 64-year-old actor stars in the movie as General Douglas MacArthur of the U.S. Army, who led a tricky operation to land United Nations allied forces into the port city of Inchon, South Korea to help the Korean army beat invading North Korean troops.
The trailer features striking cinematography, blood, sweat and tears, and sees Neeson faced with some difficult decisions.
Neeson previously admitted had concerns that the project would attract unwarranted attention from the same group who were behind the Sony hacking scandal.
In 2014, hackers entered the database of Sony Pictures Entertainment and leaked private files and movies to pressurise executives into pulling the planned Christmas Day release of Seth Rogen's movie, The Interview.
"North Korea and South Korea signed an armistice in 1953 and both countries are still essentially at war... It's a horrifying situation and in light of very recent events (such as the Sony hack) we are all, not just as filmmakers, but as citizens of this world, very concerned," Liam told The Hollywood Reporter at a press conference in the South Korean capital of Seoul.
The Taken actor says he was nervous about taking on the role of MacAurthur and worried that he wouldn't be able to do his character justice.
"I suddenly got very, very nervous thinking, 'Can I do this? Am I up for this?' Because he, MacAurthur, seemed to be revered, and has got an almost saint-like status in the country."

Operation Chromite is tipped to be the 'largest Korean summer blockbuster this year’.
