Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson have parted ways after a decade-long relationship.
A representative for the stars confirmed the news to People magazine, stating the couple will remain on amicable terms despite its split.
"Diane Kruger and Josh Jackson have decided to separate and remain friends," the spokesperson states.
The news comes just days after the pair were snapped spending the day together in New York City on Kruger's 40th birthday.
Kruger recently moved to New York City to be closer to her partner. The Sky actress previously split her time between Paris and Vancouver.
“[Moving] was a major commitment,” she told Net-a-Porter’s The Edit at the time. “That’s a big step into adulthood for me, to allow that time for someone else out of my time.”
In 2014, Jackson explained why the long-time couple never tied the knot after almost a decade together.
“I can tell you why we’re not married: We’re not religious,” Jackson told Glamour. “I don’t feel any more or less committed to Diane for not having stood in front of a priest and had a giant party.
"We’re both children of divorce, so it’s hard for me to take marriage at face value as the thing that shows you’ve grown up and are committed to another person. But it may change at some point. We may get married.”
Jackson was in a relationship with his Dawson's Creek co-star Katie Holmes during the first two seasons of the show's run.
Kruger was previously married to French actor and director Guillaume Canet. She later said that the marriage was not successful because their careers had kept them occupied in different parts of the world.
