Elton John reportedly paid a former male employee a six figure sum to settle a sexual harassment case.
The singer had been attempting to keep the case under wraps but reporting restrictions have since been lifted.

The unnamed plaintiff launched legal action against John and two of his companies for unfair dismissal and sexual discrimination, including allegations of sexual misconduct, after he was let go by the veteran singer last year following the accusation.
In order to settle the case out of court, John reportedly paid a six-figure sum, and the employee withdrew the claim.
A spokesman for John, who released his 32nd album earlier this year, told the Sun on Sunday that he has denied the allegations robustly, and is pleased that the legal proceedings have been settled.
A statement from the spokesman said: “These employment proceedings were brought after Sir Elton John's company parted ways with one of its employees in June 2015”.
“The claims were always strongly denied and we continue to deny them... Sir Elton John is pleased that the former employee withdrew the claims in full and that the issue was settled in February this year”.
Details of the case were made public today after Britain’s Court of Appeal lifted reporting restrictions following numerous attempts by the singer to keep the case secret since last December.
