Fans of EastEnders character Grant Mitchell will be delighted to hear that Ross Kemp has promised a "very strong Michell storyline" in his much-hyped return on the BBC soap.
Grant's long-awaited return to Albert Square saw the hardman come home for his mother Peggy Michell's funeral, and Kemp says there's lots more in store for him.
Speaking on The One Show on Tuesday, the actor said: "In the surreal year I've had, [it's been] Mozambique, Colombia, Syria, Iraq [for Sky documentary The Fight Against ISIS] - to Albert Square.
"What I say is if you can do them both, why not? Three weeks in EastEnders. The episodes I'm in are split over the end of August and September.
"It's a very strong Mitchell storyline. It's the Mitchells back together!"

Kemp originally played Grant Mitchell from 1990 to 1999, where he became a favourite among viewers for his hardman persona, fierce loyalty and fiery temper.
The actor reprised the role from October 2005 to June 2006.
One of the show's most popular storylines was Sharongate, in which Grant discovered that his wife Sharon was having an affair with his brother.
