Hozier has revealed that he plans to take some time off to work on his second album somewhere quiet and secluded.
TEN spoke to Hozier in London and he told us that he won't be rushing into the recording studio to work on the follow-up to his incredibly successful self-titled debut, which he released in 2014.
The Irish musician penned Better Love, the theme song for the Alexander Skarsgard and Margot Robbie-starring The Legend of Tarzan, and he says the new track is the last we'll be hearing from him for a while.
"I'm going to take some time off so this is the last thing I'm going to be putting my name to for a little while," Hozier told RTÉ TEN. "I'm going to disappear for a while and work on the next album, in a similar way to how I worked the first time round, go to a very quiet space and just see how the demos take shape."
When asked if he had any idea of where in the world he might go, he remained coy while teasing the possibility of working on a side project.
"I might... I might have an idea... We'll have to wait and see. I'm still trying to navigate what'll take place on the album and what will maybe exist outside of that or outside of... Maybe a side project or something like that, so we'll see," he said.
