Coronation Street fans are set for heart-rending scenes this month with the death of one of the ITV soap's most beloved characters.
Warning: spoiler alert!
In a new trailer entitled The Last Goodbye, Kylie Platt, played by Paula Lane, is seen putting her belongings into a car and saying farewell to husband David (Jack P Shepherd).
However, the car is then revealed to be a hearse with a floral tribute to Kylie beside her coffin.
Lane's final episodes will be broadcast in the week beginning Monday, July 11. The actress announced she was leaving the show earlier this year after six years as Kylie.
"It was very emotional to film the scenes knowing that I would never return and her death has huge consequences for David and all the family," she said.

Kylie - very much in the vein of tough Corrie icons of years gone by - has been at the centre of some of the soap's biggest storylines in recent years, murdering Callum Logan (Sean Ward) in 2015 to protect her sister-in-law.
With Logan buried under the Platts' house, David believes they have got away with the killing as dead innocent man Tony Stewart (Terence Maynard) is in the frame. Kylie, however, has buckled under the pressure and suggests the family make a fresh start away from Weatherfield. Fans will discover just how Kylie dies in the episodes beginning Monday week.
