Louis Tomlinson is said to have filed for joint custody of his 5-month-old son Freddie Reign.
The 24-year-old singer is asking for 50/50 physical and legal custody between him and his ex-girlfriend, LA based stylist Briana Jungwirth.
TMZ reports that the One Direction star is seeking the legal ruling as his time with the baby has been "inconsistent" in recent weeks.
Since welcoming his first child in January, Tomlinson has been open about his love of fatherhood on social media.
On Father's Day he posted a cute photo of himself holding Freddie's hand on Instagram along with the caption: "Happy Father's Day to every lucky lad out there who's someone's daddy! Thoroughly enjoyed my first. Love you Freddie son X."
